A Year I’ll Never Forget
“It’s hard to believe that my exchange year is over, but still I’m really happy that I was able to have this opportunity. This year was really exciting for me since the beginning I got to meet really wonderful people that they opened up to me and made me feel like home. I loved to go to homecoming because I never experienced a high school dance or being in school clubs. My favorite thing to do was going to the football games. It was like I was in a movie, and I loved to see how people were so engaged with the school. Another thing that I loved to do this year was taking advantage of how close I lived from the beach so I went almost every single week with my friends or with the family sometimes to just sit there and see the sunset. I love that there is always something to do and over all how fun everything was. Even though I have an accent and sometimes it is a little difficult to understand
me, they try their best to understand me and teach me new words. This year was one of my favorites and I will always remember it!”
