SAE December Cultural Activity

Thanksgiving has passed, leaving behind cherished memories of our students’ holiday experiences with their host families. The students were captivated by the extravagant feast that was served during Thanksgiving, and many had a delightful time watching the colorful parades alongside their host families. Flavio and Lucas had exciting journeys to different cities with their host parents. Alvaro enjoyed a trip to South Carolina with his host family. Amaya, Ivanna, and Reyes enjoyed a road trip to Canada with the host family.

In addition to the Thanksgiving festivities, we have some outstanding achievements to celebrate. Dulse was crowned as Homecoming King. Henar has been appointed as one of the team captains and has earned a well-deserved place on her school’s 2023-2024 Honor Roll. Maria’s math team secured an impressive 1st place in a challenging math competition.

With Christmas just around the corner, it’s an exciting time for exchange students in America. The holiday season is full of excitement and joy, from decorating the house and putting up a Christmas tree to spending time with family and exchanging gifts. With school and extracurricular activities on hold, there’s more time for students to enjoy new holiday traditions with their host families and create lasting memories together.
