Heartfelt message from student
This year in the United States has been life-changing for me. I am taking back to Spain new friendships, new experiences, and a fresh perspective on the world. I have been incredibly lucky to have crossed paths with so many amazing people who made me feel right at home from minute one. Thanks to them, I haven’t had many moments where I wanted to go back home—quite the opposite, in fact; now, I don’t want to leave. Being here has also allowed me to keep doing what I love most—playing sports—and to try new foods, something I enjoy immensely and have had plenty of opportunities to do. Without a doubt, it is an experience that helps you grow as a person in every sense. I am grateful to my host family and SAE for making this happen for me!
